  • Respect Privacy: Only share your own content or information and avoid posting anyone else’s personal details or private information without their consent.
  • Promote Safety: Flag harmful or inappropriate behavior and content to help us maintain a safe community.

Prohibited Behaviors

To ensure Knosh remains a safe and inclusive environment, the following behaviors and content are strictly forbidden:

1. Bullying, Harassment, and Abuse

  • Content or behavior that seeks to intimidate, threaten, or humiliate another user or group of users.
  • Persistent unwelcome attention, targeted harassment, or personal attacks on other users.

2. Hateful and Discriminatory Content

  • Posts that promote or condone hate, prejudice, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other characteristics.
  • Use of slurs, hate symbols, or derogatory language that degrades individuals or groups.

3. Violence and Threats

  • Any content that incites, promotes, or glorifies violence, harm, or threats of physical or emotional harm to others.
  • Content expressing desires or plans for harm, including to oneself or others.

4. Child Exploitation

  • Zero tolerance for any content involving or promoting child sexual exploitation, abuse, or endangerment.
  • This includes imagery, language, or actions intended to harm minors.

5. Non-Consensual Content

  • Sharing photos, videos, or other content of individuals without their explicit consent.
  • Content that invades someone’s privacy or exposes their personal details (e.g., address, phone number, or financial information).

6. Illegal Activity

  • Content that promotes, enables, or depicts illegal acts, including drug use, theft, or fraudulent activity.
  • Use of the platform to coordinate or participate in illegal activities.

7. Intellectual Property Violations

  • Uploading or sharing content that infringes upon copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of others.

8. Misinformation

  • Intentionally spreading false or misleading information about restaurants, users, or other topics relevant to the Knosh community.

9. Self-Harm and Suicide

  • Content that encourages, glorifies, or promotes self-harm or suicide.
  • Posts or behavior that trivialize mental health issues or encourage unsafe practices.

10. Spam and Irrelevant Content

  • Excessive promotion of unrelated businesses, services, or personal accounts.
  • Repetitive or irrelevant content that detracts from the platform’s focus on restaurant recommendations and reviews.

User-Generated Content

Knosh thrives on user-contributed reviews, photos, and comments. To maintain the quality and integrity of our platform:

  • Ensure all content is honest, accurate, and relevant.
  • Avoid excessive negativity or personal attacks in reviews.
  • KnoshCo Ltd reserves the right to remove or edit any content that violates these guidelines.

Reporting Violations

If you encounter content or behavior that violates these guidelines:

  1. Use the in-app reporting tools to flag the content or user.
  2. Provide clear details or screenshots if possible, to help us assess the situation quickly.
  3. Reports will be reviewed by our moderation team, and actions may include warnings, content removal, or account suspension.

Consequences for Violations

We take breaches of these guidelines seriously. Depending on the severity of the violation, consequences may include:

  • Content Moderation: Removal of content that violates guidelines.
  • Account Restrictions: Temporary or permanent suspension of user accounts.
  • Legal Action: In severe cases, such as illegal activity or harm to minors, we may report the incident to law enforcement.

Our decisions are final, but users have the right to appeal by contacting our support team with additional context or evidence.
